Luís Fabiano Clemente commonly known as Luís Fabiano is a Brazilian footballer, who currently plays for Sevilla FC and the Brazilian national team as a striker. Powerful striker with good technical skills he has taken some time to shine on the European scene. Although having a good reputation in Brazil he has failed to make a name in Europe in his time with Rennes and Porto. However it is with Sevilla that he will begin to shine and become the striker that we know today.

In his time with Rennes he did not scored a single goal.

He is labeled as the “bad boy” of Brazilian football due to his behavior on the field.

Fabiano once run after a River Plate player and kicked him below his neck. He said that he will prefer fight than take a penalty.

In his time with Porto he scored only 3 times in 22 matches.

His first goal for Brazil came on the 11 June 2003 while playing against Nigeria in a friendly.

Due to his poor form with his clubs, he was not recalled in the Brazilian side for a period of more than 3 years.

He finished golden boot of the 2009 Confederations Cup after scoring 5 goals.

Fabiano is married to Juliana Clemente, and has two children, Giovanna and Gabriela.

Fabiano scored his first international hat-trick in a friendly match against Portugal in Brasília in November 2008.
